ABOUT JUST. DOMINIC.

In 1989, he became a freshman at Frank Cody High, where music teacher, Mr. Tilis Butler, became his mentor, where he met classmate, music student and high school senior, Nicole (Nicci) Gilbert Grammy Award nominated R&B, Soul and Gospel singer from group, Brownstone.

He also is the 2nd cousin of Joe Billingslea, founding member of the Contours. Dominic sang background for the Greater Grace Temple-Detroit choir from 2001 to 2005 during that time he provided background vocals for Mariah Carey during the 2005 Superbowl weekend. Later, background vocals for the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin.

Did you know Just. Dominic. is a playwriter and producer?

Producing original stage plays since 1996. When he debuted, "My Father's House", featuring songs like, "God Alone" and "Foolin' Around". By 2012, Time, Won't Give Time, a true story about domestic abuse and losing a friend. And "The Nature of Reality", a play focused on Politics, Sexuality and Religion.
